After nearly injuring myself trying to p90x and marathon training I quit the p90x.
Well, I've backed away from the marathon training and am only running 10 - 15 miles per week. Now I can concentrate on strength and core training. Bring it back to P90X.
I've done days 1-4 so far. And man am I feeling it. So much so right now that I can not even type. I will post my before pictures soon.

This is not good, Mav!
I'm feeling battered, abused and all around crappy. My whole body hurts. But, I'm starting to feel that good pain.
Monday's Chest and Back workout got me really invigorated. Last night I replaced Plyo with a 7 mile run. Thursday, I'll replace Yoga with a 5 mile run and X-Stretch.
I did a few extra push-ups this week but no extra pullups. I think I'm going to have to start doing extra upper back workout to really build the strength I need. That and lose another 10 lbs.
I think I'm going to have to really start watching my diet. I'm not as dedicated as Ash when it comes to not stepping on the scale, so I'm going to have to be extra dedicated to eating right. For the most part I do, but twice a week for lunch I cheat. Nothing serious, but Tuesday's are Taco Tuesday's at Tijuana Flats and the gang from the office goes, so I really enjoy that.
Tonight is shoulders and arms with abs. This should be fun.

Day 6
I've decided that weekends are for long distance runs, so no Kenpo-X for me today. I think I'm going to be moving Kenpo-X to Tuesday nights, in place of Plyometrics. Plyo just kills my legs for too long.
Otherwise, I'm wore slam out this week. I'm hoping it gets better next week.

Yoga - X
So, Ash warned me, but I didn't listen. I think from now on I might listen. Yoga X is not for the faint at heart. It is only for people who have been doing Yoga for a while. I'm going to need Yoga for Regular Guys. Either that or I might just replace Yoga X with an Ab workout and a 30 minute stretching video.
Tonight is going to be another lovely delight, Legs and Back with Abs. More fun. I'm going to get a massage on Saturday. This is for the birds.

Day 3
So, I caught up on my two previous workouts and wow, am I freakin' beat. Plyometrics is a beast.
My chest and shoulders workout was almost worthless tonight because my arms didn't want to extend over my head. But I forgot about the pain. and gutted it out.
Now I'm too tired to type.

Day 1
Tonight, I will be starting my P90X fitness training. I was supposed to start this yesterday, but my body was wrecked from a 5.8 mile run early in the day. Tonight I will be attempting the first two dvds, CHEST & BACK with AB RIPPER X and PLYOMETRICS.
This ought to be interesting, as I'm also training for 1/2 marathon. Not to mention, in 2 weeks, my son will be visiting me and I will definitely will have to budget my time more wisely.
I will post my pre-workout pictures this evening.
